Muhlenberg County Happy Feet wil be the last program to have Shoe Days. This is scheduled for October. This does not mean that Happy Feet will not be buying more shoes between now and the end of December. Some programs probably will need a limited # and will shoe shop Shoe Sensation stores are located in many west and central KY communities.

All Happy Feet shoe purchase referrals come from the Family Resource staff in your local schools.

Right now. Union County Happy Feet has a shoe shopping list (45-50 pairs) for PK/Head Start, new UCPS students & those students who did not come to the July Shoe Day.

REMINDER*** Local Happy Feet programs cannot continue to buy Happy Feet school shoes without donations from businesses, individuals, and foundations. If you see the need for low income student shoes, please DONATE $ to buy shoes. Your donation supports the students in your local school.
DOLLARS ARE NOT SHARED.

Help Happy Feet buy shoes. The only way Happy Feet can buy shoes is through donations. Average cost of shoes is between $35-$40 after the Shoe Sensation discount. Happy Feet accepts checks and has a PayPal account.

Almost ALL the Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet locations have had their fall Shoe Days. At each of these events selected students got their feet sized for shoes, choose a new pair of shoes, got new socks and put shoes on to see if they fit and felt good. Sometimes that first pair is not “the one” so another pair may feel better. The Treasurer estimates that Happy Feet will purchase 5500 pairs of shoes. All these students will feel better when they go to school with new shoes. The students’ feet will not hurt because their shoes are too little or about worn out.

Happy Feet will spend about $190,00
for new shoes in 2026. Where does Happy Feet get dollars for shoes? Each location raises the dollars for their shoes Most of the dollars come from local businesses, churches, organizations and individual donations. Some locations write grants to raise dollars. A Kentucky Colonels Good Works Grant awarded $7000 to Crittenden County Happy Feet and $3000 to Ballard County Happy Feet. ALL dollars raised in a local Happy Feet program stays in that program for THEIR students.

Donations can be mailed to Happy Feet, PO Box 296, Clay, KY 42404. On the memo line name the location you want to support. PayPal is also an option. Be sure it is our Happy Feet.

Without your help, Happy Feet CANNOT Melissa Glass buy shoes for “your students”.

HAPPY FEET thanks all of our donors who make shoes possible. 👏👏👏

Hopkins County Happy Feet provides new shoes to selected students in Hopkins County Public Schools and the Dawson Springs Public Schools.

Our team is working hard putting the final touches on Sweet Feet for Thursday, but this coming week is about so much more than one event.
It’s also SHOE WEEK in Hopkins County! We’ll be busy sizing feet and delivering brand-new shoes to children in need throughout our community.
Because of YOU..our sponsors, supporters, ticket holders, donors, and friends; children across Hopkins County will receive shoes that do so much more than protect their feet. Properly fitting shoes play a vital role in a child’s healthy development, comfort, confidence, and ability to learn and play.
Every Sweet Feet ticket. Every table. Every sponsorship. Every donation.
It all comes back to one thing: putting shoes on the feet of children in need across Hopkins County.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you Thursday, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us make a difference, one pair at a time.

Six Happy Feet programs (Butler, Todd, Webster, Trigg, Crittenden, Caldwell) have had the Shoe Sensation truck come with hundreds of pairs shoes to their towns. At each stop students in need were able to go shopping for new school shoes. Five of these programs together have purchased 1034 pairs of shoes. Shoe Sensation has additional Happy Feet locations on the calendar between today and late September. THANKS to Shoe Sensation, the Happy Feet Chairs, Happy Feet Committees and many volunteers who have made each of the stops a great experience for the selected students. 👏👏👟👟👟😄😄
