CSHF also represents Community, Self-Reliance, value Heritage, encourage Faith in family, friends & neighbors. The Clay Springs Heritage Foundation is an All-Volunteer nonprofit corporation that was created in 2012 with charitable, educational, and cultural purposes along with the character of affairs being the maintenance of public buildings, monuments, or works. In October 2022 we expanded our p
urpose to include community improvement & capacity building; focusing on providing opportunities to build the capacity of individuals as well as the community. In October 2025 the ownership of the building was transferred from Navajo County to CSHF! A main focus of our organization, is the preservation of the large adobe building in the center of town. It was built in the early 1920's by the townspeople over several years using local natural resources with their ingenuity, strength, and commitment to fulfill a dream. By maintaining the building; we are fulfilling the stewardship of the heritage passed down to us to provide a central location for our residents and visitors to gather for learning and socializing. The Clay Springs Thrift Store is also All-Volunteer and has been part of the community since 2015 located in the south side of the Clay Springs Community Center. All proceeds support the purposes of the Clay Springs Heritage Foundation. The Garvin Memorial BallPark was first established as the Clay Springs Non-Profit Corporation in November of 1989 to provide outdoor recreation in the Clay Springs area. The stewardship of the ballfield was transferred to Clay Springs Heritage Foundation in 2023 to ensure the continued use of it for the residents and visitors of Clay Springs.
