๐ข Town of Clay City โ Friendly Reminders ๐ข
As the weather warms up and everyone is enjoying summer, here are a few important reminders to help keep our community safe, clean, and welcoming.
๐พ Leash Laws Are Still a Thing
We love our four-legged residents, but not everyone loves surprise visits from roaming dogs. Please keep pets leashed, fenced, or safely contained on your property. Dogs running at large create safety concerns for neighbors, children, and drivers.
๐ฑ Grass Waits for No One
The rain and sunshine have kicked lawns and weeds into high gear. Please keep grass mowed, weeds trimmed, and sidewalks clear and maintained. A well-kept property helps keep our town looking its best and shows pride in our community.
๐ Parking Matters
We have received multiple complaints regarding vehicles parked at intersections, in no-parking zones, and partially blocking streets or rights-of-way. Vehicles creating obstructions on town property or public rights-of-way may be subject to towing at the owner's expense. Please park responsibly and be mindful of visibility and access for others.
๐ง Water Service Disconnect Notices
Water service shutoffs will be taking place this week. If you have received a disconnect notice, please contact the Town Hall office immediately to make payment arrangements. If your account remains unpaid and we have not heard from you, service will be disconnected.
๐ก Being a Good Neighbor Goes a Long Way
Thank you to everyone who follows town ordinances and takes pride in their property. Positive growth doesn't happen overnight, but through consistent effort, accountability, and community involvement, we can continue making Clay City a town we're proud to call home.
We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping Clay City safe, clean, and moving forward. Together, we're building a stronger communityโone good decision at a time.
