Thanks to everyone who came out in June for our Poker Run! We were able to send a check in to Wounded Warrior Project in the amount of $1,020! This is a screenshot of the official fundraiser page with the amount listed.

We want to thank everyone for help with our 3rd Annual Poker Run, because of your generosity in donating, participating in the run or just spreading the word we are able to send a little over $1000 to Wounded Warrior Project! We would like to give a shout out to some folks in particular. As usual KY Peacemakers Waco for an outstanding ride and everyone's safe return. We also want to give a shout out to Chris Stone for DJing for us. Great job Chris. Shout out to Cherie and her brother for taking photos and drone video. Big thanks to Ian Morton for escorting the bikes out of town. We'd also like to thank the Stanton Fire Department for putting out the flag for our guys to ride under. A huge shout out to Jake from Wounded Warrior Project that come out and touched our lives with his story. We'd like to thank Debbie and Marie from our Ladies Auxillary for fixin us up some awesome sausage and biscuits that morning and Marie for also helping with lunch. Thanks for all your help couldn't do it without you. Thanks goes out to Harley-Davidson of Lexington for the items they donated for door prizes, Ale8 for their donations for some Ale8s. As always we thank our Sons of AMVETS Post 67 members for all their help and all the veterans that showed up to support us and our project. We want to thank everyone that helped us out. Hopefully we can do it again bigger and better each year.

Sons of AMVETS 67 and KY Peacemakers Waco had our 3rd annual Poker Run on Saturday. It was a great day for a ride! We had the great pleasure of having a speaker from Wounded Warrior Project come and speak. We will have an update on what we were able to raise soon! Thanks all for the participation, post shares and word of mouth that got people to participate! Hopefully it'll be bigger and better next year!

Today members of our SONS of AMVETS Squadron 67 and Members of KY Peacemakers Waco went on the mid-morning broadcast on WKYT to promote our Poker Run. Everyone at WKYT was very friendly and we appreciate them letting us come on. Make sure to come out and see us at our Poker Run on Saturday, June 20th!

We have items ready for our yearly Raffle! We have a Ta**us 9mm, a metal American Flag with the Pledge of Allegiance and some Bath and Body Works Items. All items are raffled separately and all tickets are JUST $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Make sure to stop by and see us at the Stanton Corn Festival, Our Poker Run at AMVETS 67 on June 20th, the Clay City Independence Day Celebration at Clay City Park on July 4th and all week long at the Powell County Fair for your chance to get tickets. All items will be drawn for after the last day of the Powell County Fair in September.

Hey all! Just want to remind everyone that we are looking to grow our membership! We accept Father's, Husband's, Brothers, Sons and Grandsons 18 or older of active duty military members or veterans who were honorably discharged from all branches and all lines of service from reserves to national guard to active duty.
