Information in regards to current Covid cases with in the school:
Dear Parents,
I wanted to take this opportunity to share the facts regarding the current number of positive cases and those in quarantine within the district. This past week has seen a rise in the number of those impacted and we have had questions from stakeholders asking for information. As of today, we have 1 staff member and 9 students identified to us by Clay County Health Department as positive cases. From those cases and outside exposures the Health Department has notified us that 39 students are quarantined. I want to thank you for your willingness to work with us during this hectic time of year to end the first semester. We have been able to enjoy the Band and K-5 Christmas programs this week and there are a couple of basketball games coming up next week. Please know that we are doing everything we can here at school to keep everyone healthy. We have installed ION generators in our ventilation system to minimize germs as well as cleaning and disinfecting. We ask for your understanding and support of our efforts on behalf of your children while they are in our care. We appreciate you all.
