Calling all Livestock Project Members!

If you are planning to sell a Market Animal at your County's Fair Livestock Auction you have one more chance to take your YQCA Training in Person.

Tuesday, June 2nd at 5:30 p.m. in the Clay County Fairgrounds 4-H Conference Room. If you are planning to attend please email Melissa Baxter at [email protected] so they can know to expect you.

If you cannot make this final In-Person YQCA Training you have until June 30th to take your YQCA Training online through the YQCA Website. If you have nominated animals for the Kansas State Fair or for the Kansas Jr Livestock Show you only have until June 15th to complete your YQCA Online.

If you have taken or you are planning to take your YQCA Training Online please send a copy of your YQCA Certificate to your local Extension Office.

The wait is almost over! With the updated signs in place, June is looming, signaling just 50 days until the fair kicks off. Make sure to join in on the fun pre-fair events.

Reminder for Open Class Horse Show:
You will need a copy of your coggins test.
It normally takes about 2 weeks to receive results!

Be sure to check out the annual River Valley Rabbit Club Rabbit Show on Saturday, June 6th in Clay Center in the Clay County Event Center.

There will be two youth shows, Showmanship, Judging Contests, and a Raffle with the proceeds going to support the River Valley Rabbit Club activities and scholarships.
