Yesterday, local students joined in on the Clatskanie Mural Festival painting fun! Led by Portland Street Art Alliance's muralist Matt Schlosky, students got a chance to roll up their sleeves and add to the mural going up on Colvin's alleyway wall.

Thank you to all the students, Jaime Erwin, Portland Street Art Alliance's team, and Matt for making this activity possible! It's so cool to see the mural dedicated to a piece of Clatskanie's history include Clatskanie's future.

The Clatskanie Mural Festival represents two years of planning, dreaming, and hard work from a small team of dedicated volunteers.

We’ve been collaborating behind the scenes with the Portland Street Art Alliance and the Clatskanie Farmer Collective to bring SIX NEW MURALS to our amazing town.

We encourage everyone to come on out and celebrate with us this Saturday June 20th, from 10am-2pm in Cope’s Park! There will be crafts, more info about revitalization efforts in Clatskanie, mural tours, chances to meet the artists, and lots of fun activities!
