REMINDER: The state-wide burn ban is still in effect. Please do NOT burn anything at all outdoors. It does not take much for something small to get out of control.

At this point we even recommend staying away from eating spicy food outside.

Stay safe! ---LT. Kulp

BURN BAN DIRECTIVE FOR BLADEN COUNTY 🚫🔥, Effective today at 6:00 PM, the Bladen County Fire Marshal's Office and the NC Forestry Service issue a countywide burn ban. This directive encompasses: No open burning, No burn piles, No debris burning, No yard waste fires. The current high risk of fire spread necessitates this ban to protect the community. Non-adherence may incur fines and legal consequences. We encourage the public to observe the burn ban, steer clear of fire-sparking activities, and notify authorities of any smoke or fire by dialing 911. With our response teams at the ready, prevention is critical. Together, let's maintain safety and protection in Bladen County.

It’s that time again!! We look forward to seeing you all!!

AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL‼️

Please refrain from traveling unless absolutely necessary. Remaining at home not only ensures your safety but also aids emergency responders and snowplows by keeping the roads clear. Fewer vehicles allow these teams to operate more efficiently.

By staying off the roads, you reduce the risk of accidents and lessen the strain on emergency services.

Stay off the roads, but if you HAVE to venture out:
- Ensure you give adequate space to snowplows and emergency vehicles.
- Maintain a safe distance and reduce your speed on icy roads.
- Before you head out, check road conditions at DriveNC.gov.
