💙✨ TOGETHER, WE CAN DEFEND & BE A FRIEND ✨💙

Bullying, isolation, and lack of support affect children, teens, and adults every single day. At Forward Clarksville, we believe no one should ever feel alone.

That’s why the Defend & Be a Friend Fest and the Chris Miller Be Kind Fund were created — to promote kindness, inclusion, mental health awareness, and community connection for individuals and families in our region and beyond. ❤️💛💚💙

📅 August 15th – Stewart County, TN
Families, educators, students, and community members will come together for a day focused on:
⭐ Anti-bullying awareness
⭐ Su***de prevention
⭐ Inclusion & acceptance
⭐ Mental health resources
⭐ Community support and connection

Your support helps us:
✔️ Provide free family-centered community events
✔️ Connect families to critical resources
✔️ Create welcoming spaces where friendships can grow
✔️ Expand outreach and future scholarship opportunities through the Chris Miller Be Kind Fund

Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Together, we can create a kinder future where every child and adult feels seen, supported, and valued. 💙

🙏 Thank you for helping us carry that forward.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Spectrum Book Publishers for an incredible Live Reading event at the library on Tuesday, May 12, 2026!

It was truly inspiring to see families, children, advocates, and community members come together to celebrate literacy, inclusion, creativity, and the power of storytelling. Events like these remind us how important community collaboration is and how much we can accomplish when organizations unite to create safe, welcoming, and educational spaces for everyone.

A very special congratulations on the wonderful book Liam and the Loupes! This meaningful story is another beautiful example of how representation and imagination can positively impact our children and our community.

We encourage everyone to continue supporting Spectrum Book Publishers, local authors, and inclusive community initiatives that help families feel seen, heard, and connected. Your support helps create more opportunities for education, acceptance, and belonging for all.

Thank you for allowing our community to be part of such a special evening. We look forward to many more collaborations together! 💙📚✨
