Thank you for your interest in the Yow Foundation. The founders of the Yow Foundation and its Board of Directors have been prayerfully waiting to crest the one-year anniversary of YFI’s creation, working diligently in the past year to establish it as a mechanism to bless the lives of the people in and around Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee. Founded on the Mission Statement “to further the cause of Christ through good works done in His name,” YFI searches for ways to help and bless people of this community in whatever way possible. Feeling compelled by His word and funded by those who similarly seek to accomplish His will, YFI aims to be a source of good in our area. Complementing the already thorough works of local churches and Christ-followers, the Yow Foundation aims to “fill in the gaps” and be a resource for people who have needs which, with prayer and effort, can reasonably be satisfied.

The Yow Foundation’s ministry is one which encompasses seemly endless possibilities to bless our community. Given its mission to further the cause of Christ through good works done in His name, the opportunities which may present themselves are innumerable. YFI may provide food or clothing for the homeless, purchase beds for a single mother with growing children, provide a car for a family in need, help pay for medical bills, or otherwise bless people in seemingly countless ways - in the name of Jesus.

While YFI has existed for more than one year, it has deliberately worked in secrecy, not soliciting donations or extending an inquiry to publicly find those in need. Rather, the Yow Foundation has sought to quietly bless Clarksville families in a variety of ways, looking forward to its creation anniversary, after which we would publicly announce its existence, mission, and capacity to do good in our community. As Paul said, “Let him who boasts, boast only in the Lord.” We are pleased to share that YFI has been able to bless numerous families in the past year in a variety of ways. In the name of the Lord, the Yow Foundation has utilized its funds to further the cause of Christ by blessing families affected by fire with monetary support, providing Thanksgiving dinner to numerous large families with children, turning water and electricity on for families who have gotten behind on their bills, putting a deposit down on an apartment for a mother of four children, putting a deposit down on childcare so that a single mother could start her new job, buying a single mother a dependable vehicle so that she could get to work, and much more. YFI has also taken the last year to help support financially several other organizations who bless our community, such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Clarksville Christian School, Manna Café, the Mid Cumberland Foster Care Fund, the Department of Children’s Services, and LifePoint Church, to name a few.
