Once an exhibitor always an exhibitor, we relived the glory days on Tuesday! What a turn out we had for the Alumni Showmanship. Our three classes did NOT disappoint!

Meet your 2025 Clarksville Area Better Beef Show Judge, Jason P'Pool!

Jason grew up on a small diversified livestock farm in Kentucky where he was very active in 4-H/FFA Livestock Projects. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agriculture/Animal Science from Western Kentucky University. He served nearly 20 years in
the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. In January 2014, Jason and his family moved to Auburn, Alabama, and he began work as an Associate Extension Professor for Youth Animal
Science Programs. In the Fall of 2022, Jason accepted a position as an Instructor of Animal Science at the Hutson School of Agriculture at Murray State University and teaches a variety of
Animal Sciences courses, including the introductory course in Animal Science, Beef Cattle Science, Small Ruminant Science and Livestock Evaluation and Selection. He is also working to
build a competitive Murray State University Collegiate Livestock Judging Program. He lives with his wife Melissa and their children in Benton, Kentucky where they are involved with their
Church and 4-H/FFA Livestock Activities.

Meet your Showmanship Judge for the 75th Annual Clarksville Area Better Beef Show, Madison Martin!

Madison Martin is a 4th generation seedstock producer operating at the base of the Appalachian Mountains in East Tennessee. She is a Senior Board Member and Junior Advisor for the Tennessee Simmental Association, as well as the President of the Tennessee Cattlewomen’s Association. She grew up showing Simmental cattle and farming with her grandfather, and through those life lessons, she realized her passion for the agriculture industry and its people. You can find her at local sale barns talking with producers or on the sidelines of the show ring looking for new genetics to bring home. Her true passion within the agriculture industry lies with the future of our industry and the individuals who will inherit our farms and ranches to continue the legacy our forefathers worked tirelessly to build.

We are so thankful that Madison took time out of her busy schedule for us on Monday!
