Ozark R**e Crisis Center is a proud partner of the River Valley United Way! So grateful for their support.

HEALTHY COMMUNITY IN ACTION!

Healthy Community means improving health and well-being for everyone in the River Valley by expanding access to support, advocacy, education, and resources that help individuals and families feel safe, supported, and empowered.

ORCC is helping make that possible by providing crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and support services for survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking throughout our community. Through a 24-hour hotline, victim advocacy, support groups, referrals, and prevention education, ORCC works to ensure survivors have access to compassionate care and support when they need it most.

By building awareness, providing critical services, and working toward the prevention of violence, Ozark R**e Crisis Center continues to make a meaningful impact for individuals and families across the River Valley.

River Valley United Way is proud to partner with organizations like Ozark R**e Crisis Center that are helping create a healthier, safer, and more supportive community for all!

Thank you Lamar EAST Program and Eagle Scouts for the hard work with our clothing shed. These students came out last March and completely transformed our shed. This was an amazing team effort from Eagle Scout, Deston Price, Clayton, Katherine, Eli, Isaac, and Cole.
We also want to give a special congratulations to these students as they graduate high school this year! Because of your time and skills our shed is functional and organized.

Arkansas ranks 2nd in the nation for the incidence of sexual assault. That is not a ranking to be proud of, yet funding for victim services and prevention education continues to decrease.

“There are roughly 77 incidents per 100,000 in the population and the national number is in the 30s so we’re over double the average in the country."
