One year. Thousands of miles. Countless lives touched.

Our dear friends justine_rhene of The Great Camper Chronicles and her family have spent the last year traveling across the United States, embracing adventure, sharing hope, and reminding people that healing is possible.

Along her journey, she has carried Eagles Nest Recovery with her, passing out copies of Coming Home to Yourself to those who needed encouragement, healing, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Last week, she dedicated her hike to Black Elk Peak to Eagles Nest Recovery, and we are incredibly honored.

What started as one person’s (Mandy Bloomingdale) recovery journey has become a movement of hope reaching far beyond what we could have imagined. Every book shared, every conversation started, and every seed planted matters.

Thank you, Justine, for being a light on the trail, for believing in our mission, and for helping carry hope across America.

Recovery is possible.
Hope travels.
And together, we continue to soar above the storm. 🦅❤️

Beginning July 1, kratom will no longer be legal in Tennessee under Matthew Davenport's Law. As Tennessee prepares for this change, individuals who regularly use kratom may experience challenges as access to the substance ends. If you or someone you know is concerned about kratom use, help is available.
You don't have to navigate this alone.
The Tennessee Lifeline Peer Project and Tennessee Recovery Navigators connect individuals and families to treatment, recovery support, and community resources through Certified Peer Recovery Specialists with lived experience.

Today, I remember Sean.💜

A cousin by blood, a brother by heart. Addiction may have taken him from us, but it will never erase the love, memories, or impact he left behind.

Gone but never forgotten.

Wednesday nights have become one of my favorite nights of the week. There is something powerful about gathering with people who are choosing healing, growth, honesty, and freedom.

Celebrate Recovery is more than a recovery program. It’s a safe place for anyone struggling with hurts, habits, or hang-ups to find hope, healing, and community through Jesus Christ.

Have you ever thought about attending but weren’t sure what to expect? Do you have questions about recovery, the program, or whether you belong?

Tonight is the perfect night to come check it out!

Join us for a special Panel Discussion where individuals will share their personal recovery journeys, answer questions, and talk about the hope and freedom they have found through Celebrate Recovery.

Recovery is possible. Hope is real. Freedom is available.

🦅❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You to Celebrate Recovery at Salem❤️🦅

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, love, and support shown by the Celebrate Recovery Salem family.

Last week, they blessed Eagles Nest Recovery with a generous donation to help us continue our mission of bringing hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and families impacted by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

What makes this gift even more meaningful is that it came during a week filled with milestones: celebrating 1 year of Eagles Nest Recovery, receiving my 5-year recovery coin, and witnessing firsthand how God continues to use our pain for His purpose.

Your investment is more than a donation. It is a seed planted into lives that are being transformed every day. Because of your support, we can continue providing recovery resources, peer support, trauma-informed coaching, outreach, and hope to those who need it most.

Thank you for believing in the vision. Thank you for walking alongside us. Thank you for reminding us that recovery happens in community.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Together, we are planting seeds of hope and watching God bring the increase. 🌱🦅

Thank you to everyone who said “yes” to showing up, serving with excellence, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

What we accomplished together was about so much more than projects and donations. It was about bringing hope, encouragement, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you to Buckhorn Children and Family Services for always welcoming us with open arms. It is truly an honor to serve your community, and we are grateful for the relationships built and lives touched along the way. Until next time!

Thank you to every volunteer with Going Global, Red Box Min for your generosity, thank you to every silent donor, every prayer partner, and every person who supported this mission through giving, serving, encouraging, and praying.
Your generosity made this mission possible, and the impact will continue long after we have returned home.

Together, we planted seeds of hope, healing, and recovery that will continue to grow for years to come. ❤️🦅🙏

Going Global is here on the Buckhorn Campus and the Dessie Scott Campus today! We are thrilled to have them here with us. They have brought in a generous donation to us from their partnership with Red Box Ministries. Thank you all so much for being here with us today and uplifting our clients.

💜 Overdose Awareness Day. August 29th 💜

Every name has a story. Every life mattered. Every loss leaves an impact that never fully fades.

As we prepare for this year’s Overdose Awareness Ceremony, we want to honor those we have lost to substance use and overdose.
If you have lost a loved one, we would be honored to include them in a memorial tribute video during the event.

Please send:
📸 A photo of your loved one
📝 Their full name
📅 Date of passing

Together, we will remember their lives, celebrate their legacy, and remind our community that they are never forgotten.

Overdose can affect any family, any community, and any life. By sharing their stories, we reduce stigma, raise awareness, and help bring hope to those still struggling.

For me, this mission is personal. On May 29, 2021, I nearly became another overdose statistic. By the grace of God, I was given a second chance. God wasn’t done writing my story.
Since that day, I have dedicated my life to helping others find hope, healing, and recovery. Every life lost matters. Every life still fighting matters. This is my why.

💜 Remember. Support. Prevent. 💜

Join us on August 29th as we come together to honor lives lost, support those impacted by addiction, and stand united in the belief that recovery is possible.
