Snyder captures his second Blue Hen Cup!

Gary Snyder figured something out on a very tough post frontal day on the Upper Bay. On a day that saw some of the clubs best sticks manage just one fish, G-Money brought 3 to the scale for 6.19 lbs for the win! Well done!

Finishing about a pound and a half back was Steve Krakowski with 2 fish for 4.68 lbs in second. Nate Taylor and Mark Robinson managed just one fish each for 1.96 lbs and 1.33 lbs respectively. Fishing in his first Cup, Randy Burns, did not manage to bring one to the scale. This was by far the clubs toughest Blue Hen Cup in our 14 year history of fishing for the Cup! A total of only 6 fish for 14.16 lbs was caught. That is a rough day!

This concludes our 2026 season. The club will kick off our 39th season with our banquet in February of 2027.

Cup day!!! The 14th edition on the Blue Hen Cup is going down today from 7-3 on the Upper Bay! The launch and weigh in site has been moved to the Port Deposit town ramp do to a conflict at Anchor Marina. Come on out and watch the fellas weigh in a little after 3!

Nate Taylor - Cup Qualifier #1

Nate qualified for his 14th Cup by winning the Cup last year and capturing this year's AOY! Nate is the only angler in the club to qualify for all 14 Cups, winning it in 2014 and 2025! Nate is a four time AOY champion, and also has a Classic title in his resume. Year in, year out, he’s the most consistent angler in the club and he’d love to see his name back on the Cup! It's Cup week!!! The 14th addition of the Blue Hen Cup will be held this Sunday on the Upper Bay! The boys will be launching at Anchor Marine in North East, and fish 7 til 3 with weigh in near the Nauti Goose at 3. Stay tuned for daily angler "spotlights" of the five anglers that qualified!
