Huge thank you to Alex, Jammie, and Tori (three incredible collegiate athletes) for leading a fun and informative softball clinic at Shaver Field on this perfect summer evening! The girls had an absolute blast and walked away with new skills, confidence, and an even deeper love for the game. We’re already counting down the days until fall ball and can’t wait to see all our amazing players back on the field!

Join us for an exciting opportunity to improve your softball skills! This clinic will focus on throwing, fielding, hitting, and base running, led by experienced local college athletes in a fun and supportive environment.

🗓 Date: August 3rd
📍 Location: Shaver Field
💰 Cost: $50 per participant

🔹 Ages 5–8: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

We wrapped up an incredible weekend here in Clarksville as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Dixie Softball with a tournament to remember. We were blessed with beautiful clear skies the entire time, and the energy on the fields was unmatched.

A huge congratulations to the Brookneal Angels and the Charlotte County Ponytails! They’ll be proudly representing Virginia at the World Series!

To every single fan, player, and family member who stepped foot on our fields: thank you. Your support, sportsmanship, and laughter made this tournament something truly special.

The Clarksville Dixie Board would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of the directors who joined us in celebration this weekend. Your presence meant so much.

And finally, we are incredibly honored to have our Clarksville Ponytails receive the Sportsmanship Award which is a reflection of the heart, respect, and spirit shown by our players, coaches, and fans.

The Clarksville Angels gave it everything they had in the state tournament and left it all on the field. While their journey came to an end, we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, heart, and sportsmanship these girls showed every step of the way.

Thank you to the coaches, families, and fans for your support and most importantly, thank you to these amazing young athletes for representing Clarksville with pride and determination!
