Hey Friends, so, who doesnt want a cool TNR magnet from the Humane Society of Clarksville - Montgomery County? Proceeds of this sale and any donations will help us fix more kitties.
While you are reading the post, check out those numbers of cats TNRd, are these not incredible?
DONATE a minimum of just $5 (use the Donate button in this post) and earn a FREE TNR MAGNET while supplies last! The first 16 donors who MESSAGE us (don't post in comments) with your name & amount donated will have a magnet with your name on it awaiting pickup at our building anytime during office hours: Mon-Sat between 9am-2pm thru next Sat 5/9/26. We are located at 940 Tennessee Ave. (behind Arby's off Riverside Dr.).
Just $40 pays to fix, vaccinate & ear tip a feral cat at our clinic... but EVERY dollar truly matters, so please give what is comfortable for your family... we know finances are ruff right now but this work has to continue for these literal throwaways of our society... they need us!
The Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of feral cats in our community has grown exponentially since the start of the Cats MEOW TNR program in 2019, and every dollar donated from this post will be credited to their fund to be used here at our clinic!
Since opening our clinic doors in August 2017, Cats Meow TNR (and many kind Samaritans working independently) have TNR'd 5,510 cats at our clinic (that is nearly a complete year of surgeries for us!).
2017: 72 cats TNR'd
2018: 166 cats TNR'd
2019: 560 cats TNR'd (Cats MEOW TNR program launched)
2020: 778 cats TNR'd
2021: 535 cats TNR'd
2022: 555 cats TNR'd
2023: 785 cats TNR'd
2024: 1,191 cats TNR'd
2025: 665 cats TNR'd
2026: 203 cats TNR'd (so far)
The math to determine how many kittens were NOT born on our streets or euthanized as unadoptable in nearby shelters is complicated as there are lots of variables. BUT... if we assumed every cat would have contributed to just 4 kittens being born, TNR efforts thus far have prevented a minimum of 22,040 felines from overpopulating our streets & shelter.
This of course is a huge underestimation since a mature cat can have 3 litters for an average of 12 kittens per year with offspring being able to breed as early as 4 months old.
If you have an urgent trapping need, please message the Cats MEOW TNR page for guidance, but if you are physically & financially able to work independently without their help you will get in a lot faster since their wait list is very long! Book your appointment online with us, choose a TNR package, and in the notes indicate your urgency: http://clarksvillehumanesociety.org/spayneuter-clinic.
