Art has the way to reach people in ways that policy often can’t. pARTisan is a 6-day art exhibition, hosted by David Lusk Gallery in Nashville, that celebrates the role art can play in shaping civic dialogue and inspiring action. Building on the momentum of last year’s show, pARTisan invites artists to use their work as a vehicle for reflection, conversation, and change.
In addition to the gallery hours, pARtisan will host 3 Artist x Activist Conversations that will take place 8/21, 8/22 and 8/23. More details on those to follow. August 18-23, 2026 at David Lusk Gallery, 516 Hagan Street Nashville, Tennessee.

Yesterday, Memphis showed up. Phone banks at First Congo, a block party on Vance Ave, volunteers who gave their Thursday to make sure their neighbors had what they needed to vote.

Now we’re looking ahead. November is next and we’re not slowing down. Every conversation, call, and door is all building toward making sure our communities know exactly how to get out and vote.

Today’s the day, Tennessee!🗳️

Governor. U.S. Senate. U.S. House. All 99 state House seats. County mayors, sheriffs, school boards, judges. This ballot touches every part of how we live, so swipe through for everything you need to know before you head to the polls.

Polls are open 7am–7pm CST / 8am–8pm EST. Bring a valid photo ID. Confirm your polling location with your county election commission if you haven’t already.

And if something feels off, such as long lines, ID issues, confusion, intimidation, you are not alone. Call or text 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). Language support available in Spanish, Asian languages, and Arabic.

Getting to the ballot box shouldn’t stand between you and your voice. If you need a ride to vote on Election Day, August 6, local partners across the state are ready to help.

1. Call the number for your county to schedule a free ride.
2. Don’t forget your valid Tennessee photo ID.
3. If you’re in line when the polls close, stay in line; you still have the right to vote.

Together, we’re making sure every voice has a way home to the ballot box.
