I've still got several kiddos looking for a home away from home for the 2026-2027 school year. Can I count you in?

What the application process looks like? Seriously, can be completed in 3-4 hours, except for the family interview - we have to schedule that for an in-person meeting.

+A criminal background check
+Pictures of the common spaces of your home and the student's area (does not have to be their own room - they can share with a gender and age appropriate host sibling).
+Information on the family's diet, lifestyle, habits, etc.
+A letter from your family to your student.
+3 non-family references
+Host family Interview by me!

Hey y’all! I’m looking for a host family for Bastian, an incoming 11th grade exchange student arriving late July/early August for the full American high school experience!

Bastian is flexible, open-minded, active, and excited to become part of a family here in the U.S. 💪🏽🏋️‍♂️ He’d especially love a home that enjoys healthy eating, staying active, and maybe even hitting the gym together.

🐾 A cat-free home is required.

Sweet interaction of the day to share...I took a student of mine and my daughter prom dress shopping today. The ladies at the shop we went to were so kind. They could not get over how polite, respectful, thankful, and sweet my girls were. Proud momma/LC moment there. Never assume you know what an international student will behave like. They will make a profound difference in your life and the community in which you live. Try it and see for yourself.
