Shout out to our youngest donor yet! Aaliyah Townsend was a participant in the Miss Clarksville Sweetheart Pageant and won the People's Choice award. As that winner, she was able to donate 50% of the proceeds to a charitable organization or cause of her choice. Well, she chose us and we are so grateful! Thank you so much Aaliyah! According to an article from Medical News Today, new guidance from the American College of Physicians recommends biennial mammography for average-risk females aged 50 to 74 to screen for breast cancer. For those aged 40 to 49, the ACP advises that screening should be individualized through shared decision-making, considering personal risk and potential harms like false positives and overdiagnosis.
