This past weekend we had Key Club students participate in Key Leader, held at Lakeshore Conference Center in Eva, TN. They spent an amazing weekend, interacting with other students, learning the key aspects of leadership! What a privilege it is to support the future leaders of our community!

It is with great sadness that we share of the passing of longtime member, Colleen White.

Colleen joined Hilldale Kiwanis in March 2004 after spending many years as the faculty advisor for the Clarksville Academy Key Club. She continued to serve when she started the CKI Club at APSU. Colleen ran all of our fundraisers and the service leadership programs. She led with great strength, organization and heart. Due to her dedication, we renamed our college scholarship this year to honor all of her hard work. We will shortly announce the winner of the first Kiwanis Club of Hilldale, LLC Colleen White Key Club Scholarship. Her impact on Montgomery County will outlive us all.

We are honored that she directed donations to be made to Hilldale Kiwanis so we can continue providing guidance and leadership to the students of Montgomery County!

Pattie McMillan is an Educational Assistant who has been with the district for five years. Ms. McMillan let us know that her daughter-in-law has been her greatest influence. “My daughter, Lauren Drake, is a former English Teacher and now an Academic Coach. She has been my inspiration and biggest cheerleader,” said Ms. McMillan.

The Clarksville High community is so grateful for Pattie McMillan! 🎉
