These two young men, shot great yesterday and both won a flat of shels for being the top shooter for their age bracket. I know both of these boys can shoot. I've watched them in a duck blind get better very year. Congratulations Chase and Carson on a great day busting clays. Cross Creek Clays

We would like to thank everyone that came out to Cross Creek Clays this morning for the Franklin Memorial Scholarship Shoot. I think with so many counties being on fall break hurt our entries. We all had a great time and raised money for kids in our home community. Congratulations to our top team, Team Puff Daddies. (Randy Hunt, Chris Smith), top 8th grade and under shooter was Carson Spurgeon. Top high school shooter was Chase Vann. Top overall shooter was Ralph Greenwell. Looking forward to getting our date set for next year's event.

I made a mistake on the event flyer. It has the start time at 10am. This is incorrect. Starting time is 9:30 and registration begins at 8:30 Saturday morning.
Remember if you are shooting Saturday morning, you will need to provide you own ammo. Cross Creek Clays will have ammo for purchase in the pro shop. If you need a cart they will have carts for rent.

This will be what we will be drawing for at the fundraiser shoot this year. This is a Beretta A400 plus, new in the box. 28" barrel, 3&1/2 in bottomland camo. It has the kickoff system. You will not have to be present to win the drawing. Tickets will be 1 ticket for $10 or 3 for $25. All proceeds go to the scholarships. Tickets will be sold at the event also.

This year in addition to the shoot we will be offering t-shirts for 20.00 each. If you are interested in ordering a shirt please let me know, the last day to order will be October 4th. Incase you missed it, here is the information for the Sporting Clays Shoot. This is a 100 target event. We will be raffling off a shotgun again this year. Lunch will be provided and door prizes given away. .

This year's event, there will be more door prizes. If you are shooting in the event, your name will be in the door prize drawing. I'm thinking gift cards to random places. Free rounds of sporting clays at Cross Creek Clays. If anyone has a good door prize idea let me know.

I have gotten the flyers for our scholarship fundraiser for this year ready. This past spring we were privileged to be able to give $10,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.
