Naptime here on Remedy Road. We loved saving them and healing them and now we are hoping wishing praying for forevers but until families are found, all our Roadies are happy healthy and SO loved.

In this group, top dog is MaKenzie. She has a lot of puppy energy and a big funny personality. Her foster Mama says Kenz loves to play and will run circles around her and the other dogs. MaKenzie also has a serious case of youngest pup syndrome and loves to tattle on her brothers and sisters in rescue. 😅 She's a hoot y'all.

Middle pup is Suzy Q named after Rebecca's Mama. She is one of 5 fantastic ferals we trapped several years ago. Rebecca has worked her foster magic on Suz and this dog is just about perfect. We would love to find her a home on a farm or with an active adopter.

Final girl Is Camellia, one of our Mommy dogs.
Cam is a gem!! She is housetrained, crate trained, loves outdoors and adventures but is also a professional snuggler and lover of humans and other dogs.

Sending BIG love to all our friends at Needy Paws Animal Shelter for giving our best gal, Camellia, the opportunity to meet a potential adopter! 🥰

Cam has been waiting so long for her chance at forever, and we couldn’t be prouder of her. She was PERFECT in the house and absolutely wonderful with the kiddos in the family. 🥹🐾

Even if this isn’t her forever home, this was such a wonderful change of scenery for Cam and a great opportunity for her to show off her social skills. We’re incredibly grateful she got this chance. 💗

So, paws crossed! 🐾🤞
Please send Cam all your prayers, good thoughts, and forever family wishes. She deserves her happy ending. 💕🏡

It took two years, a loving foster home, a caring vet team and more dollars than we are willing to count but we are beyond happy to reintroduce you to a healed, happy, and thriving LaMar. 🥰

Today we celebrate a very special boy, our sometimes sweet and often spicy Romeo.

Romeo is a little dog with big feelings, big fears, and a bite history. This is a difficult combination but difficult doesn't mean unworthy. Behind Romeo's challenges is a dog who deserves a chance to feel safe, understood, and loved.

Romeo has been with us for a year and has made lots of progress so we are praying that this will be the year he finds forever but until he is ready to set down some fears, he is gonna stay right here on Remedy Road. 🏡

This is how we rescue. Day by day, one by one, not the biggest but always doing our best for every dog in our care. ❤️

Rescue Life...

It has taken three long years of foster care and behavioral rehab for Suzy Q to learn that not every hand reaching for her needs to be feared and this week we had a milestone moment. Suz is finally comfortable with bathtime. No rushing, no forcing, just trust.

For Roadies like Suzy who have known fear, uncertainty, abuse and neglect, this is a huge step forward and this is fostering at its finest. ❤️

Every day in some way Miss Mocha stops whatever she is doing to reach out a paw or give a little kiss to say thank you for this life we have given her.

Mocha has been in foster care here at Remedy Road for four years ~ almost her whole life. Mocha is sweet, friendly, snuggly, and loves to be loved. She is crate trained and does pretty well on a leash. She loves everyone and everything and we cannot say enough about this gal. She is love and fun!!

Mocha would like a home where she can play in a fenced in yard or be her silly little self with some kiddos. She is very human oriented so she wants to be close to the people she loves. Mocha is a great dog and so worthy of a home of her own.

If you are interested in Mocha please message us. Her adoption fee is sponsored and transport is available to certain areas.

Makenzie had a meet and greet yesterday. The family gave her a chance and we are most grateful but Kenz was not a good match. So last night our sweet shy girl received a brand new bone instead of a brand new life. 😭 Our hearts are breaking for her but we know her person is out there somewhere.

Who remembers this gal? Makenzie was abandoned with a horrific prolapse. Its been a long road to recovery but Mackie is healed and ready for forever! Makenzie is very loving but can be shy so she needs a patient home. She loves to play and roughhouse so would love a hone with a big fun outgoing dog. Mac LOVES men but is cautious with women at first. She WILL come around thought and absolutely adore her dog mom once she knows she is safe. 💕 Message us for more details!

We have been so blessed with our friends in rescue helping us find homes for so many of our long term residents here on Remedy Road but our best gal Cam is still searching for forever.
Camellia has been fostered by Rebecca so she has a solid foundation of love and care. Cam is 4 years old fully vetted up to date on all vaccines. She has received her wellness exam and our vet team says she is happy healthy and ready for forever. Cam is good with all dogs, loves her humans, is a professional snuggler but does not love cats.
Please share. Together we can walk this Roadie HOME!
