Congratulations to GPTC student, Tamirah Dix (L) and Cosmetology Program Chair, Antwania Massey (R) for being named Student and Instructor of the Year for 2025 respectively. Tamirah and Antwania were named the GOAL (Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership) and Rick Perkins Award winners earlier today at a special luncheon hosted at the DeKalb Conference Center. Congratulations to Justin Hawkins for receiving the prestigious Alumni of the Year award for 2024! Justin currently works at the energy plant supporting Georgia’s capitol and surrounding buildings, including the governor’s mansion. He is a Building Automation Systems graduate.
