Good evening,

As we move in to the new year, we have new guidelines. This post is to inform current and prospective partnered organizations of updated donor guidelines. Donor and program names are redacted for confidentiality.

Please note: Muslimaz N Tha Streetz Inc. does not provide the food. We receive food through a scholarship arrangement and forward the full benefit directly to the community. We do not sell food and do not profit from distributions.

We receive over 500 pounds of food weekly, including perishable items, fresh produce, and non-perishable goods, which are distributed directly to those in need.

PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to partner with organizations monthly. At this time, we strongly prefer to work with one or two dedicated organizations that can dedicate themselves to:

• Picking up food weekly
• Either providing a volunteer or paying the weekly fee

PARTNERSHIP TERMS
————————————

Volunteer-First Preference
If a volunteer is secured for the month, no weekly payment is required.

Weekly Fee If Volunteer Coverage Is Not Secured
If a volunteer cannot be secured, the organization must pay $40 per week for each week they plan to attend and receive food.

Payment Deadline
Any required payments must be submitted no later than the 25th of the preceding month.

Examples:
Food received in January must be paid by December 25
Food received in February must be paid by January 25

Failure to submit payment by the deadline will result in permanent termination of the sponsorship agreement.

Volunteer Hours
Arrival no later than 9:15 AM
Service concludes at 1:00 PM

Sign-In Requirement
Volunteers must sign in and sign out and list the organization name in the Service Code section for compliance and tracking.

Contract Requirement
All partnered organizations must sign a contract acknowledging these guidelines and understanding that failure to comply will result in termination.

🌍 Big News from Muslimaz N Tha Streetz! 🌍

We’re excited to announce that Muslimaz N Tha Streetz is expanding! Our new DMV Chapter launches in 2026, continuing our mission of service and empowerment in the Metro Washington, D.C. area — and we’re not slowing down in Metro Atlanta, where we’ve proudly served for the past seven years.

Every Thursday, we provide over 500 lbs of food to families in need — and we are now seeking to sponsor one or two local organizations to help pick up and distribute food each week.

To qualify, your organization must be a 501(c)(3) serving underserved communities in Metro Atlanta through free food pantries or community distributions.
We cannot sponsor organizations that charge any fees for their food programs.

Our new DMV Chapter will soon launch Free Tech Training and a Youth Gang Prevention Program — more details coming soon, in shaa Allah.

In 2019, we began our mission with Haroun Shaheed Wakil, with a single pot of beans and a pan of cornbread, serving 100 individuals that night. Today, Muslimaz N Tha Streetz Inc. proudly serves over 10,000 people annually through our free community pantry and mobile soup kitchen.
