💙💛UPDATED INFORMATION!!! 💙💛
There has been a change in date for the Buddy Walk. Its now May 16th!!! Same venue. And I will update once again with the time of day.

💙💛HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 📢💙💛I've been corresponding with The Down Syndrome Network of WV. And they have offered to take over our local Buddy Walk! 🥳 While I'm sure things will be a little different from our past Walks considering they're not local to the area. I'm super excited because they are the same group that organizes the Buddy Walk in Charleston! So I'm sure it will be Fantastic!!!🎉 And probably alot more Organized! 😂 They have also Re Named our Walk to the "Step Up For Down Syndrome" Buddy Walk. The Miracles You Admire page will remain the same. We are just no longer affiliated with the Buddy Walk. The Date is set for Saturday May 2nd at VA Park. No time is set yet. So make sure to mark your Calendars!!! And as I get more information. I will pass it along!!! 💙💛

Please keep the Ash family in your prayers.

Jason Scott Ash, 51, of Edgewood Avenue, Clarksburg, WV, entered into the waiting, loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 30, 2026, following a 4-year journey with glioblastoma brain cancer. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on November 10, 1974, the son of the late Roy Lee and Shirley Jean (Elliott) Ash.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Heather (Holbert) Ash (his high school sweetheart), whom he married on June 29, 1996.

Also surviving are his children, whom he loved deeply and who love him to the moon and back, Abby of Nutter Fort, Daniel of White Hall, Samantha, Noah, Josiah, Charity, Alatheia, Zephaniah, Benaiah, and Gavin Andrew; his brother, Patrick Ash and his wife Diane; his father and mother-in-law, Harry “Buzzy” and Martha Holbert of Enterprise.

He is also survived by his half-sister, Linda Hedrick and her husband Larry; his half-brothers, Doug Ash and his wife Ellen; Tim Ash; Rusty Bates; sister-in-law Brenda, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Emily Nicole Ash, on January 6, 2025. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Janet Bland; brother, Bruce Ash; sister-in-law Maxine Ash.

Jason was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1993 and attended classes at Fairmont State.

He was a member and deacon of Saltwell Road Church where he faithfully attended for over 35 years. He loved his church family very much and enjoyed doing things around the church to bless others.

Jason served 6 years in the US Army National Guard 119th Engineers in Clarksburg, WV.
After many years of various jobs and gaining various skills, Jason became the owner/operator of WBF Maintenance, LLC for 14 years until his health made it too difficult to continue. He loved all things landscaping; designing, planting and maintaining beautiful landscape areas.
Jason loved photography. His favorite subjects were his family, sunsets & sunrises, waterfalls, beachscapes and landscapes. Last summer he biked many miles and saw many sights with his sons and friends from church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and passed those loves onto his children. He enjoyed taking trips and seeing new sights with his family.
Jason enjoyed volunteering with his family at Sharpe Hospital and Camp Nathanael.
