This is an incredible study showing the power of the symbiotic relationship between bees and fungi. Bees are dying from environmental stress. Honey bees utilized in agriculture do not have the same exposure to fungal resources as those in woodlands and ecosystems. This disconnect may contribute to the depressed immunity of bees. Introducing fungal based supplements to bees may be a major support for bee populations.

This study may also suggest the connection for native bee populations. Native bees rely on healthy fungal systems to provide them with food and immune support. To promote ecosystem stability please consider planting a garden to provide habitat and food for bees and biodiversity.
