I would love your help with something. At Clarksburg Closet, we are always in need of wipes, diapers, pull-ups, and underwear of all sizes. Most of us are familiar with how expensive these items are and it’s hard for those families we support to afford them. I am organizing a diaper/wipes/underwear drive for Clarksburg Closet and would love your support. Please do not feel obligated to donate! Below are the logistics for the diaper drive. I have included an Amazon Wishlist that can give you an idea of what is needed, but if it's easier to buy some items while you are doing errands, that would be great! We are not picky about style or brand.

When: Now until June 20th

Where To Drop Off: Clarksburg Closet (Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am to 1:00pm, Cedarbrook Community Church, my house (12460 Horseshoe Bend Circle Clarksburg) or if I need to come pick them up, I can do that too.

Items Needed: Wipes, diapers (larger sizes are in higher demand), Pull-ups, Kids underwear (all sizes), and Adult Underwear (all sizes)

☀️IMPORTANT UPDATE☀️ Clarksburg Closet will be temporarily CLOSED for a summer break beginning Saturday, JUNE 20th and will REOPEN Tuesday, AUGUST 18th.

— REGARDING DONATIONS:
We will PAUSE accepting CLOTHING DONATIONS from JUNE 20th until we reopen on AUGUST 18th.

— REGARDING REQUESTS:
We will temporarily PAUSE accepting CLOTHING REQUESTS starting JUNE 1st, and will BEGIN accepting REQUESTS again via email starting AUGUST 15th.

Our volunteers will work as hard as possible to fulfill as many clothing requests as we can before our summer break begins June 20th.

THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING as we give our dedicated team of volunteers who serve the community with all their hearts this opportunity for a much needed break to rejuvenate ahead of the busy back-to-school season. 🫶❤️

Our 5th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway event was a HUGE success once again & made so many young ladies happy!! We had attendees from 12 different high schools across the area, gave away nearly 250 free dresses, dozens of pairs of shoes, and countless accessories, all generously donated by the community! GRATEFUL does not sum up our feelings fully ❤️ This event would not be possible without our dedicated and hard working Clarksburg Closet volunteers, Cedarbrook Community Church, and Allied Event Solutions who generously donated dress racks for us to use to display our gowns for a third year in a row. Thanks again for all the community support! Until next year….👗💃👠👛

Clarksburg Closet is proud to present our 5th annual Prom Dress Giveaway event TOMORROW, Saturday March 21st from 10am-2pm at Cedarbrook Community Church (23700 Stringtown Road in Clarksburg, MD). All are welcome & each teen girl can select one FREE dress, as well as shoes and accessories! Look at all these beautiful dresses!! We are looking forward to making your Prom dreams come true! PLEASE NOTE: Clarksburg Closet will be CLOSED to give our hard working team of volunteers a much needed break from December 22nd through January 5th. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 6th.

THANK YOU so very much for all your donations this past year! With the community’s generous support, we were able to help THOUSANDS of people in need throughout Montgomery County, partnering with MCPS, DHHS, CPS, Catholic Charities, Identity, Shepphard Pratt and more!
