Today, we are honored to celebrate someone whose heart, creativity, and dedication have helped shape the magic behind Marley’s Mission’s Blue Ribbon Gala for years. 💙

Please join us in congratulating Maegan Taylor, recipient of the Rebecca Haggerty Memorial Reins of Healing Award at our 15th Annual Blue Ribbon Gala on May 30, 2026.

Named in memory of the late Rebecca Haggerty, former Marley’s Mission Board Member, this award recognizes an individual who demonstrates deep compassion, unwavering commitment, and dedication to the mission of Marley’s Mission and, most importantly, to the children we serve.

We first met Maegan through the Cigna Healthcare volunteer group many years ago, but it did not take long before she became family. From joining our events committee to becoming the creative force behind our annual Blue Ribbon Gala, Maegan has poured her heart into every detail.

There isn't a single piece of décor that Maegan hasn’t touched. From spending countless days in the basement tying dance floor décor to freezing in the arena at Marley’s Mission painting decorations, her passion for this mission shines through in everything she creates. Her vision, hard work, and love for the children we serve are woven into every corner of our gala.

Maegan, thank you for the countless hours, the creativity, the laughter, and the love you have given to Marley’s Mission over the years. We are so incredibly grateful for you and honored to recognize you with this very special award.

At our 15th Annual Blue Ribbon Gala on May 30th, Marley’s Mission is honored to present the Remembering Zachary Award to the Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office and Brian Gallagher.

The Remembering Zachary Award is a special award given in memory of Zachary, a beautiful 14-month-old little boy who was tragically a victim of child abuse. This award recognizes the passionate and tireless efforts of individuals and organizations who raise awareness of child abuse, foster healing, and work to protect children in our communities.

Through their unwavering dedication to advocacy, justice, and the protection of children across Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office and District Attorney Brian Gallagher embody the mission and spirit of this meaningful award.

Snowstorms hit differently when you’re responsible for a farm and the safety of animals.

Today, Jeremy Holgate of Holgates Heroes sent us a video of the property to put our minds at ease, letting us know our horses were safe and everything was under control. As if that wasn’t enough, he also took the time to clean our steps. 💙
