Giving Tuesday is this week. We ask that you consider St. Vincent de Paul St. Rita Conference in your donations.
This year, META (Facebook) announced a new way of matching donations for the giving season — When you sign up to donate monthly to a nonprofit on Facebook like St. Vincent de Paul St Rita Conference, Meta will match 100% of your donation after the second month’s donation. To be eligible for a match, you have to make that a recurring donation when you click on the Donate button. META will match up to $100 per donation, $100,000 per nonprofit and up to $7 million in total across all organizations. This is a shift from how they have historically matched one-time donations on GivingTuesday.
Let's say you make a $50 monthly recurring donation. $50 will be deducted from the payment method you set up on the same day each month and donated. 100% of your donation goes to St. Vincent de Paul St. Rita Conference. After your second monthly payment of $50, you are eligible for META to match your donation amount (In this example $50). You can cancel your recurring payment plan at any time.
You can set up your recurring donation any time between November 15th and December 31st or until the 7 Million match fund is exhausted.
Having your donation matched is a bonus for our conference. Your donations allow us to do God's work of feeding the poor.
