During a two-week series with Blue Barn Art Studio’s Sarah Bednarek, Jr. High 4-H members designed miniature “safe spaces” using reusable materials. ✨
This project invited youth to think intentionally about where they feel most at peace and how they can create environments that support their well-being.
By combining creativity with reflection, the program helped youth strengthen emotional awareness and practice skills that support lifelong mental wellness. 💚
We’re planning to continue offering more Jr. High and High School art + mental wellness sessions throughout the year. We can’t wait to share new opportunities soon!
