A HUGE welcome to our YM 4-H/Clarkfield Summer Rec Intern, Paige Lehrkamp!! We are so excited to have Paige on staff with us this summer to lead the City of Clarkfield / Clarkfield EDA Summer Rec program, as well as provide support to other 4-H programs and events throughout the summer! Please welcome Paige!!

Hello my name is Paige Lehrkamp!
I am a Senior at South Dakota State University double majoring in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Leadership, with minors in Animal Science and Agricultural Business. I am excited to work with 4-H this summer to interact with children, build my professionalism, and continue growing my educational skills.
After I finish school, I plan to begin teaching in an Ag classroom and become an FFA advisor. I enjoy showing cattle, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
Some fun facts about me is my favorite food is chicken alfredo, and my go to coffee order is a Carmel Macchiato.
I am excited to meet everyone this summer!

Let's Make Art! with the Blue Barn Art Studio and Yellow Medicine 4-H. All youth grade K and older are welcome to join us as we explore the fun and enjoyment of art in our lives and make something that is uniquely YOU!
Date: Wednesday, December 27
Time: 1 PM - 3 PM
Location: Clarkfield City Hall, 904 10th Ave., Clarkfield
Cost: FREE

Intermediate Sewing Project with Pam Smith and Yellow Medicine 4-H!!
Participants should have some sewing experience, as we will be skipping over the basics for this class! 4-H Volunteer Pam Smith will be our instructor. This class has a maximum of 6 participants.
Grades: for grades 3rd and older; must have sewing experience
Location: 4-H/Extension/Ag building - 1000 10th Ave., Clarkfield.

The Yellow Medicine County Fair Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Yellow Medicine County Fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While 4-H supports this decision, we also acknowledge the loss and disappointment it causes. We are committed to offering an alternative for Yellow Medicine County youth to showcase their learning and achievements. So keep working on your projects and be sure to ID your animals by June 1. In partnership with the fair board, we will find a way to celebrate your effort and create a pathway to state events!
