Decimilization is where stocks are trading using Decimal values like 1.75 rather than fractions like 1 3/4. This conversion is quite tricky both for Traders programmed to use this fractionalization method and Systems programmed to display in it. Both People AND Technology must change. Accordingly, the STC has asked for additional time to decimalize the Nasdaq. Here:
