Our 1st annual “Susan’s Stockings “was an overwhelming success. We stuffed over 60 stockings plus we had extra items to give the Visions and Pathways Organization, to give out to teenagers for the holidays.
Thanks to everyone who donated items and to all who participated to stuff these stockings. A big thank you to the Mira Vie in Fanwood for the use of your beautiful facility and the refreshments, to some residents who helped, the ALJ Key Club and of course, all of the Clark Kiwanis members who participated to help make our friend “Susan” smile from above.

The Kiwanis Club of Clark and the ALJ Key Club would like to thank everyone for cleaning out their closets and supporting us. We collected over 200 bags of clothes and items. Thanks again for your continued support!!!

Our dear friend and Kiwanian, Susan Dougherty, passed away on July 29,2025. She had worked as a teacher at ALJ High School, and a Key Club Advisor, along with many other positions. Most importantly, she was a wonderful and caring person to all who knew her.
We feel that this scholarship is an appropriate way to honor Susan’s incredible legacy!

Last night was ALJ Key Club’s “Superstar Night”, that was truly amazing. It was inspiring to see so many outstanding students in one room and to celebrate their achievements together.

The Kiwanis Club presented scholarships to deserving seniors for their dedication of service during their years at ALJ. Congratulations to all the Key Club students who received awards and seniors who received stoles to wear on graduation for their 4-year service with key club.

The Kiwanis Club of Clark, New Jersey, is grateful for the support of all advisors to the Clark public schools, K Kids Club- Valley Road, Hehnly School. Builders Club- Kumpf & Garwood Schools & Key Club members Arthur L Johnson. We enjoy participating in our events, fundraisers, and supporting the less fortunate throughout our community and beyond.
