Participants had a great time at Ready, Set, Fair Day Camp, where they explored creativity and learned new skills through hands-on activities designed to prepare them for the fair!

Throughout the day, youth strengthened fine motor skills, creativity, perseverance, and independence while creating a tie pillow, clover door hanger, and bean mosaic canvas.

The best part? Each participant went home with three projects ready to exhibit at the Wright County Fair! We hope to see lots of these creations entered and proudly displayed this summer! 🎡

Does your Clover Kid love picking out outfits or showing off their style? NEW THIS YEAR, the Clover Kid Clothing Event is a fun opportunity for youth to dress up, build confidence, and showcase an outfit they love while learning about clothing choices and personal style. We would love to see lots of smiling faces participate in this year’s event!

How to Enter:
Log in to FairEntry using your 4-H Online account information. All Clover Kid entries are located under the “Clover Kid (Finished K-3)” Department. From there, select the appropriate class and complete all required questions.

What a fun day of creativity, learning, and fair preparation at our Ready, Set, Fair Day Camp! Participants explored new skills through hands-on activities, games, and project-based learning while creating three fair-ready exhibits for the Wright County Fair. We even had a special volunteer, 2025 Wright County Fair Queen Lily Pigman!

Youth practiced creativity, problem-solving, following directions, and fine motor skills while making a tie pillow, clover door hanger, and bean mosaic canvas.

We hope participants feel proud of their hard work and consider exhibiting their projects at the Wright County Fair this summer. We can’t wait to see all of the amazing exhibits on display! 🎡🍀

🐥 Clover Kid Poultry Class🐥

Calling all Clover Kids with chickens, ducks, or poultry projects — we want to see you in the Clover Kid Poultry Class at the Wright County Fair! This is a fun opportunity to learn more about caring for poultry, build confidence, and show what you have learned. Whether this is your first fair or you’re returning again, we encourage every Clover Kid to participate!

How to Enter:
Before you can enter the Clover Kid livestock projects in FairEntry, you will first need to identify the animals in 4-H Online. In 4-H Online, add an animal. Be sure to add the animal under the poultry category. Log in to FairEntry using your 4-H Online account information. All Clover Kid entries are located under the “Clover Kid (Finished K-3)” Department. From there, select the appropriate class and complete all required questions.

Have you ever been interested in canning? At this workshop you’ll learn safe methods to preserve jams and dehydrate foods in this ‘jam’ session and take home the fruit of your labors!

This is a hands-on workshop that offers youth the opportunity to learn safe food preservation techniques. Youth will be making two jars of jam at this session- one will be opened at the workshop for testing and the other will be eligible to take to the Wright County Fair. (If project is selected to advance to State Fair, another jar must be made)

Attention Poultry exhibitors

Pullorum Testing is this weekend!
Date - June 13th
Location - Wright County Fairgrounds
Cost - $3 per bird

Fair Book Rule -
Pullorum testing must be done prior to the fair. All poultry exhibited must have had a negative Pullorum-Typhoid test within 90 days of public exhibition & the test must have been performed by an authorized tester.
