Our small town is famous! 🎉 Congratulations to A.J. O’Neil and family on the launch of their educational PBS series, Son of a Butcher! The show takes viewers behind the scenes of their family butcher shop while highlighting farm-to-table food, local farming, the daily rhythm of a family-run business, healthy recipes, and the relationships that make small-town communities so special.

Stop by O’Neil’s grocery store, butcher shop, and catering company in Shippenville to pick up dinner or book your next party! From meats and seafood to fresh veggies, specialty items, deli meats and cheeses, and delicious bakery treats, there’s something for everyone.

🎉 Big news for downtown Knox! The Knox Volunteer Fire Company Façade Improvement project is officially complete—and it looks great!
The Fire Department is such an important part of our community, and we were proud to help support this project through grant funding. The improvements replaced old railroad ties with decorative concrete blocks, giving the property a cleaner, sleeker appearance while adding the long-lasting durability of concrete blocks and poured walls.
✨ Want to give your downtown storefront a fresh new look? Businesses in downtown Knox can still apply for the Façade Improvement Program, offering matching grants of up to $10,000 to help make exterior improvements more affordable and keep the momentum going!
