The CCEDC is very pleased to share that we have been awarded grant funding through PA DCED’s Main Street Matters program. Through this funding, we will be launching a regional façade improvement initiative to support downtown revitalization efforts across Clarion County.

This marks a major milestone for our Regional Main Street Initiative, which focuses on strengthening local downtowns and business districts as a key pillar of countywide economic development.

The CCEDC is excited to celebrate a major milestone, which is the completion of our very first Facade Improvement Project in Knox, PA!

Shear Cheveux is a popular downtown business that helps bring people into Knox every day and generates important foot traffic for surrounding businesses.

Through this project, the CCEDC partnered with Shear Cheveux to help beautify and preserve their historic two-story building, which has stood in downtown Knox for more than 100 years. The improvements not only enhance the appearance of the property, but also help preserve the character and vitality of downtown Knox for years to come.
