Dear Church Family,
You are invited to attend the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on Saturday, November 7 at 10:00. A soup luncheon will follow. If you would like to donate a soup, bread, or dessert, please let Mary L. know.
We did an inventory of donated shoebox gifts and found that we are short in some areas.
We need:
toothbrushes
pencil sharpeners
sunglasses
flipflops or shoes
coloring books
small notebooks/tablets
T shirts
small bouncy balls
small cars
Many of these items can be picked up inexpensively at Dollar Tree. You can also check out Amazon. They have suggested gifts on their Operation Christmas Child Storefront.
Thank you for your generosity! Please continue to pray for this program and their mission to share Jesus to the world!

Today our Treasure Seekers enjoyed a craft day. Children and adults cut, colored, glued, folded, and painted ornaments to hang on a mall Christmas tree. Our theme is Operation Christmas Child and we hope to raise interst in this wonderful project. Operation Christmas Child began in 1993 when Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan's Purse, responded to a request for Christmas gifts to children affected by the war in Bosnia. The project has expanded to 175 countries and territories, distributing 12.2 million shoeboxes in 2025.The mission of OCC is to demonstrate God's Love to children around the world and share the Good News of Jesus Christ! It's all about Jesus!
