The Clarinda Foundation is proud to announce the creation of the Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum Endowed Fund, a permanent source of support that will help preserve and sustain one of our community’s most treasured landmarks for generations to come.

Income from this endowed fund will provide ongoing support for essential operational needs, including building maintenance, groundskeeping, utilities, property insurance, and other projects necessary to keep the museum grounds welcoming to all!

🎉 Thank You, Clarinda Regional Health Center! 🎉

The Clarinda Foundation and Clarinda Cardinal Fund Committee extend our sincere appreciation to Clarinda Regional Health Center for a generous $2,500 contribution to the Cardinal Fund Challenge!

This investment will help support much-needed infrastructure improvements throughout the Clarinda Community School District, ensuring that our students, staff, and community continue to benefit from safe, functional, and welcoming facilities. We are grateful for CRHC's commitment to strengthening our community and supporting local education.

Remember, every dollar donated to the Cardinal Fund Challenge will be matched by the Clarinda Foundation, dollar-for-dollar, up to $200,000. Together, we can make an even greater impact for the future of Clarinda schools!

🎉 THE PARK IS OPEN! 🎉

The wait is over—Clarinda’s new park is officially open and ready to be enjoyed by our community!

A huge thank you to the Clarinda Outdoor Recreation & Engagement (CORE) Board, the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce, and the City Of Clarinda, Iowa for their leadership, dedication, and hard work in bringing this exciting project to life. We also extend our gratitude to the former Clarinda Youth Corporation Board for planting the seed and initiating the vision for this wonderful community asset.

The Clarinda Foundation is proud to serve as the fiscal advisor for CORE. 🎉✂️ Ribbon Cutting Celebration at Schenck Lake RV Campground! ✂️🎉

The Clarinda Chamber of Commerce was excited to celebrate the grand opening of the new Schenck Lake RV Campground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony!

This beautiful 58-acre recreation area features a scenic 33-acre lake and offers something for everyone, including fishing, a children’s playground, a shelter house, and separate dog parks for large and small pets. 🐟🏕️🐶

The RV campground includes 15 full electric and water hookup sites, each with its own picnic table and fire bowl, plus fully accessible restroom facilities and individual showers.

✅ No reservations required
✅ Only $20 per day

A heartfelt thank you to Clarinda Kiwanis for their generous $500 donation to the Clarinda Cardinal Fund Challenge. It is especially meaningful to see a local nonprofit organization investing in another important part of our community — the students and future of the Clarinda Community School District.
