UPDATE: The Clarendon Lions Club is postponing its flag service at Citizens Cemetery until 5:15 p.m. tomorrow due to rain, and no one is sad about it. 😁☔️

The Clarendon Lions Club and Scouts BSA Troops 433 and 4433 are asking the public for volunteers to help setting flags out at Citizens Cemetery on Wednesday, May 20, starting at 5:15 p.m. for Memorial Day weekend. We have about 500 flags to put on the graves of those who fought for their country. All able-bodied persons are welcome to help with this project.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our 14th Annual Chance Mark Jones Memorial 5K!

Congrats to all of the medalists and participants! Tristen Ybarra was our first place overall male runner and Erica McAnear was our first place overall female runner.

We appreciate the participants, sponsors, Lions, and The Bridge for supporting us with our annual 5K to raise awareness for child abuse prevention and keep Chance’s memory alive. Today would have been Chance’s 20th birthday.

Clarendon Lions and volunteers from Clarendon College and Howardwick helped the Lions Disaster Relief 2-T1 team prepare almost 100 hamburgers for firefighters last Wednesday.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated toys and funds toward our 2025 Toys for Joy event! We gave out more than 250 toys this week to all elementary students at Clarendon and Hedley.

🦁 And thank you to the Lions who helped shop, sort, distribute and dress up to bring joy to the kids in our communities.
