Sharing for our community members that may need to utilize the UPMC Kane Emergency Room this weekend!

UPMC KANE TEMPORARY EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ENTRANCE CHANGE Friday October 16 at 4PM

UPMC Kane community — construction work will take place this weekend that affects the Emergency Department entrance. Friday, October 16 4PM through Monday, October 19 7AM all Emergency Department access will be redirected to the rear of the hospital at the Receiving Corridor entrance, where temporary ADA parking will be available. Please follow posted exterior and interior signage. Staff will be available to help guide patients and visitors throughout the weekend.
🔸 ED entrance closes: Friday, October 16 at 4 PM
🔸 Reopens: Monday, October 19 at 7 AM

Not all heroes wear capes!

Today is National Hero Day and we honor those that serve for us and with us. In September, we held our Annual Appreciation Dinner for our members to gather together and be recognized for their service. Our top ten responders were among those recognized. These members are Larry Gregerson, Cole Foust, Samantha Knapp, Mari Ireland, Greg Ireland, Paul Pascuzzi, Terry Gregerson, Kyle Walker, Brian Dunn, and our top responder Tom Eaton (responding to 91 of our 158 total calls).

Thank you to all our active, social, honorary, and junior members. Also thank you to all our mutual aid departments, dispatchers, and law enforcement agencies for helping us serve our community!

Chickens are cooking and boy, does it smell good!

Stop by and see us today at Vet Fest (located at the Allegheny Valley Veterans Center) for a chicken BBQ dinner. Chicken, mac salad, beans, roll and a cookie for $15. Noon until gone!

Our annual Chicken BBQ will be held Saturday, September 19th at the Allegheny Valley Veteran's Center in Clarendon during Vet Fest. Dinners will be sold starting at noon until sold out. NO RESERVATIONS, first come first serve.
