Please take a minute and give ANY amount you like. These donations for Candy Day stay in the state to fund our club supported philanthropies like People’s Resource Center, DANKA, Inc., HCS Family Services and many others. 40% off the donations go the the Lions of Illinois Foundation to support programs like Camp Lions for sight and hearing impaired youth ages 7-17.

Photos from the awards ceremony put on by the West Suburban Philanthropic Network. We were given the Philanthropic Service Club of the Year award. The four gentlemen in the one photo from left to right are board members Paul Flood, Brian Marquez, Club President Brian Keating and Service Chair Ross Hurst. We were nominated by the People’s Resource Center and specifically Jeni Fabian, CEO, pictured at the podium. We thank Jeni for her wonderful recognition of the partnership we have had with PRC and all the good we have done together.

Another overflowing box of eyeglasses to find new homes at Lions International Headquarters. Thank you to all our drop off box locations; Village Hall of Clarendon Hills, Clarendon Hills Library, Clarendon Hills Bank, Hamel Dental, Moda Eyewear, Willowbrook Bank and Birches Assisted Living and Memory Care. Also a big thank you to the Walker School Recycling Event that yielded a full bag of glasses.
