Hi Everyone,

This is Bill Weisbeck, Chairman of this years event. I want to sincerely thank all of our hard working volunteers who put in months of work to make Bark in the Park 2023 bigger and better than ever!

I have received letters from as far away as Ontario, Rochester and the Southern Tier all sharing their enthusiasm for this event. The Lockport and Youngstown Lions joined our team to help provide volunteer support as well!

This has truly become a WNY tradition with ALL demonstrators donating their time all to help these rescue and adoption agencies as well as the Lions Humanitarian efforts! I personally know several people who will be providing forever homes to both younger and older dogs as a result of this event!

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 🎉👏🏼

We wanted to give you some last minute things to remember before heading out to Bark in the Park tomorrow:

🎟️ PRE-SALE TICKETS will be cut off today! If you pre-registered for our event already, go to the designated line at the front gate to save yourself some time & grab your goodie bag 😊

🦮 We are a dog friendly event! So please bring your licensed, leashed, well behaved pals for a day of fun. For every dog attending BIP the owner must be willing to sign a liability waiver. Also, please bring a 6 foot NON-RETRACTABLE leash of any kind for the safety of all our furry pals!

☀️ We are expecting a BEAUTIFUL summer day in WNY tomorrow. We will have hydration stations all over the event as well as some doggie pools to keep our pals cool as well as a few accessible shady areas!

🚗 We will have a crew from the Lockport and Pendleton Lions assisting with parking this year & handicap accessibility for those in need. Please be aware that there may be some parking wait times when you are planning to attend your favorite events / contests. There is also a $5 suggested donation for parking.

🐾 Bring some extra spending money as we will have LOTS of vendors, pet rescues & events for the day of the event as well as a basket raffle, food & refreshments available for purchase! All event sponsored areas and SOME vendors will have credit card accessibility as well.

🏆 We have so many fun contests to be apart of with your dog (a few of which have cash prizes) - check them out below so you can plan ahead!

There is still time to sign up!

The 11:30 AM session is 2/3 of the way sold out & there are plenty of slots in the 1:00 PM! This will be walk in ONLY IF we can't sell all the tickets. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket as this will be an outside event 🧘‍♀️🐶🐾

We have an exciting addition to this year's event - PUPPY YOGA!

There will be two puppy yoga sessions taking place during our event - 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM!

🐾 11:30 AM session will feature puppies from 716 PAWS
🐾 1:00 PM session will feature puppies from Open Arms Rescue of WNY

Yoga at the Locker will be hosting these 30-40 minute guided yoga sessions with some special four legged guests!

There is a $5 donation required for the class. All donations will be given to the rescue organizations bringing the adoptable puppies.

*Please bring your own mats - this will be an outdoor event*
