The Clarence Christmas Walk is just a week away and there’s a lot of fun to look forward to! Music will fill the district that evening with Matt Stein playing a solo acoustic set at Victory Lane, 7p-10p and the North Cedar Bands High School Jazz Combo will be playing all your holiday favorites inside Demeter’s Market, 6p-8p.

This Friday is going to be a wonderful evening of holiday joy! The Clarence Main Street Board of Directors is hosting two fundraisers to help us raise funds for the EXTREMELY GENEROUS match challenge put to us by the Clarence Community Foundation. All donations to our program between today and January 31, 2026 will be MATCHED UP TO $20,000!!! This is an incredible opportunity for our program to grow and allow us to help even more buildings and businesses!

We can count ourselves so lucky to have terrific partners on the Clarence Main Street. Attorney Kyle Maurer not only serves as a Cedar County Magistrate Judge, city attorney, and private practice attorney, but consistently shows up for our Main Street program, guiding us through so many of the legal issues we encounter in pursuit of a strong Main Street district. This morning Kyle was out clearing snow off the sidewalks of local businesses and commiserating that Small Business Saturday was so disrupted by the weather. Clarence wouldn’t be the same without dedicated folks like Kyle who go above and beyond to serve their community.

Have you heard! The Clarence Community Foundation has issued a challenge to the Clarence Main Street! The foundation will match, up to $20,000, all donations made to the Clarence Main Street between December 1, 2025 and January 31, 2026!
One of the fundraisers we’re holding during the Christmas Walk is the boxed cookie sale! These will be snazzy, giftable boxes full of delicious handmade treats! Can you help us bake? We’d be so grateful for your help!
