Almost 9 years ago, I started hosting storytelling nights and I had no idea what I was really building.
Women would come in barely holding it together. Sit. Witness each other. And leave changed. Then they wouldn’t come back.
For a long time I thought that was a problem. Friend, it wasn’t. It meant it worked.
What I was holding was a container. A space so safe that women could finally exhale. Finally speak. Finally find their voice. Finally be heard. Finally be seen.
What those nights really were — was group therapy wrapped in storytelling.
And now — nearly a decade later — She Stories is evolving. We’re stepping away from the stage and the audience and into something more intimate. More personal. Just a room full of women ready to heal, rise, and thrive together.
No spotlight. No performance. Just sisterhood.
Oh — and don’t be surprised if we pop up every now and then with a little joy. Because healing also looks like celebrating how far you’ve come and honoring where you’re going.
