Kids side by side Every child is potentially the light of the world—and at the same time its darkness; The irony of no child left behind. We don't get it.

to connect with like-minded organizations and individuals and net work in the interest of promotion of integrated education and human rights. when 80% of Native kids are left behind. the real problem is not how many is left behind. The real issue is how come so many our kids are disengaged, not enjoying learning even if they are physically in the classrooms. The experience we have had with our empowerment group at Plaomrares in such a short time and the transformation we have experienced is very telling. The integrated education is the answer. Children's imagination and soul must be fed in the process of education.

Justice as our post of honor lies at the heart of my conviction these days. ‘Abdu’l‑Bahá addresses this theme in Paris Talks, stating: “Each man has been placed in a post of honor, which he must not desert.” This powerful passage was studied and memorized by students at Palomares Academy of Health Sciences as they celebrated learning, meditation, and service as instruments of justice and unity in their communities. During that period, the DACA crisis weighed on our students’ minds. I hope that 'Abdu’l‑Bahá’s words help our communities see one another as flowers of the same garden, waves of one sea, and cells of one body—united in service to the oneness of all humanity. See less
