🍎📚 Welcome to Maple Avenue School! 📚🍎

The Maple PTO is excited to welcome back our returning staff and welcome all of our new staff to Maple! We kicked off the year with some breakfast treats, coffee, and a little “Get to Know You” card so we can learn some fun facts, favorite snacks, and coffee orders. ☕️🥯

We were able to put them out at the Maple Ave School table during the Back to School Festival for families to enjoy. Such a fun little snack to share, and we appreciate your support! 💜

☀️ We loved seeing students and staff sporting their colorful “Peace Out School Year” bracelets provided by the PTO for Field Day!

A huge thank you to Hannaford of Claremont for their generous gift card donation, which helped us provide fruit popsicles for students and staff.

And thank you to Mrs. Flint for all her hard work organizing Field Day and coordinating volunteers. We appreciate everything you do to make this day such a success!

We’re grateful to be a small part of making this special day memorable for our students and staff. ❤️

On Monday and Tuesday, the Maple Ave PTO was excited to help bring VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) to our school! Each class participated in the “Superpower Critters” program.

Students had the opportunity to get up close with a live bird and reptile while learning how these animals use their unique abilities to survive and thrive.

Here are a few photos from the presentations. Every class did an amazing job!

Now we’re looking forward to Field Day tomorrow and the students’ last day of school on Thursday.
