Thank you to everyone who made it out for MACCRAY National Honor Society's first 5K Walk/Run this past Saturday! We had a great turnout and the cool, damp weather did not slow us down one bit! The event was a huge success and we hope to make a sizeable donation to the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota in memory of MACCRAY graduate Hailey Berghuis (the total donation amount will be shared as soon as it is calculated). Congratulations to all the participants! 💜

Just a reminder that the MACCRAY NHS Epilepsy Awareness 5K Walk/Run is TOMORROW! Same-day registration is available starting at 8 am and the race begins at 9 am - we would love to see as many people as possible at the Hawk Creek Golf Course in Raymond for this event!

As the weather warms up and starts melting all that snow, we are getting excited for our 5K Walk/Run! Just a reminder to register THIS WEEK if you would like to get a free t-shirt included with your registration fee - the deadline for early registration is this Friday! Grab a few friends to join you for this event - it is sure to be a great time!

Maccray National Honor Society is hosting a 5K Walk/Run to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of MN in memory of MACCRAY Class of 2021 graduate Hailey Berghuis, who had Epilepsy and passed away earlier this year.

We would love to invite all MACCRAY students, staff, families, and community to join us at Hawk Creek Golf Course on Saturday, May 6! Registration forms can be found at the MACCRAY HS and Elementary offices and at Citizens Alliance Bank in Clara City (it is also included in the comments below).

All participants registered by April 14 will get a t-shirt included in their registration!

Our NHS Food Drive competition between grades was a huge success! 12th graders came in first place, 10th grade in second place, and 6th grade in third place, but all students did a great job collecting both food and money for the Kandiyohi County Food Shelf!

Wow, A big Thank You goes to to the MACCRAY Public Schools National Honor Society for organizing a food and cash drive for us! They raised $1129.10 and 385 pounds of food! Thank you to everyone that participated!

MACCRAY NHS is holding a food drive competition between grades, and we are extending the deadline due to the snow days last week! The last day to bring in food items or money donations will be Thursday, March 23. Students should turn items in to their grade's collection box and the grade that collects the most food (by weight) will get to "block" a teacher's door the following week! Donations can also be brought in during conferences on Tuesday, March 21!

MACCRAY NHS has hosted two Red Cross Blood Drives this school year on Dec. 7 and Feb. 1. We had great success at both drives, collecting a total of 125 pints of blood so far this year!

We will hold one more blood drive at the high school in April and we can start scheduling appointments later this month - be sure to watch for an update to make an appointment!
