The Chilton County Emergency Assistance Center provides programs to individuals who qualify; services include nutrition needs, dental assistance, and prescription medications.

God's work is being done! Thank you West End Baptist Vacation Bible School for the 951 lbs of canned goods and other dry goods. It will go along way to help us do our work at the Center. Thank you Lisa McCullough and Brandy Childress for the donations this morning. Lisa, the Center's board chairman, is also president of ESPA, a professional development organization composed of support and administrative professional personnel of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. The 2026 conference was held at the E.V. Smith Research Center in Shorter. The CCEAC was selected as the recipient of ESPA's Community Service Project. Each year the ESPA conference is hosted by a different county. This year Lisa, president, chose CCEAC to be the recipient of the goods collected. Lisa works at the Experiment Station in Collins Chapel and Brandy works at the Clanton Cooperative Extension office. Thank you ladies for the donation of clothing and housewares !

Today marked for the first anniversary of Al Headley being the director of the Center. It has been a satisfying and fulfilling experience. The association with so many dedicated employees and volunteers has been amazing.
Also fulfilling is the fact the Center helps so many people. Thanks to those that support the Center with your donations. We look forward to continuing to help those in need.

Clean those closets out and bring your items to the Center! We have put away and sold most winter items to make room for summer items. Bring your donations to the rear of the store at 502 Enterprise
Rd. or leave them in the donation house.
For over 40 years, the Center has been helping to meet the needs of those in Chilton County who need a little assistance. Help us to help! Thanks!
