Thank you for your support making this great event possible, Jefferson Regional Foundation❤️

JRF team member Kelleigh Boland, Director of Grantmaking and Strategy, attended the Unity Group of Clairton’s Informational Dinner on Saturday, October 18, at the Georgetown Centre in Pleasant Hills. The community event, titled “Moving Forward Toward Healthy Living,” brought together an estimated 200–300 residents to learn more about safety and air quality following the August 11 explosion at U.S. Steel’s Clairton Coke Works.

The Foundation supported this community gathering, along with the Heinz Endowments. Residents were provided information and resources about air quality. Residents were also afforded the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.

Community is the heartbeat of Clairton.
Today, the Unity Group of Clairton showed up and showed love at Trunk N Treat! Events like this remind us how powerful we are when we come together; laughing, connecting, and pouring positivity into our city and our youth.

A huge thank-you to the event planners for the invitation and for creating such a fun, safe, and family-centered space for our community. Your hard work and dedication made today special for so many!

❤️❤️Call for New & Gently Used Clothing Donations❤️❤️

👕Every year at CommUNITY Day there is a "Clothing Closet" free to attendees.

📍Donations can be dropped of at the Clairton City Building, 551 Ravensburg Blvd Room F between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm.

📆Donations will be collected between now and July 9th.

❓Limited assistance will be available to collect donations outside of the hours listed above. Message the Unity Group FB page or text 412-345-3627, and we'll try our best to find a Unity Group volunteer to help with pick-up.
