KyMel, Inc KyMel's mission is to provide connecting experiences for families on the cancer journey. Camp Hope is a camp for children who have or have had cancer.

KyMel is a non-profit whose mission is to provide connecting experiences to families facing cancer. We currently offer two flagship programs: Camp Hope and Camp SIBsational. It was created in 1982 by "Ma" Donna Brown after she lost two children to cancer--Kyle and Melani (KyMel). She wished her kids had been able to have a "normal" camp experience with other kids going through the same thing. The

first camp was held in 1983 and has been held the third week of June every year since. Camp SIBsational is a camp designed specifically to meet the unique needs of siblings of kids with cancer. It was started in 2019. Both campers are free to attend for all campers and volunteers.
