The next Bushton Farmer's Market is Tuesday, August 11th, and it looks like a HOT one again, so we will move inside to The Plaza Commons. (Venders pay $5 to use the building. Look for the banners!) The La Colibri Mexican Food truck will arrive at noon, serving lunch and dinner! We'll have fresh veggies, lots of baked goods, a few new vendors at the Market including fresh CORN. And remember to bring a little extra to donate to Becky Wasson's medical trip to Chicago. Stop by and drop it in the donation jar at the Bushton Proud booth!

Had this sent to us by Jack Willenberg, he is searching for information on the Bethel School and cemetery that was/is located north of Claflin. Looking to see if anybody has any stories or information about the years the school was open, if there was an older school building then that was built in the early 1900s and if there ever was a church by the cemetery. would be great if anyone had pictures to share. He is bringing it up because he has the old exterior school sign saved when the school was torn down and he is trying to write a history to keep with the sign.
